PUMA Cards Terms and Conditions for Hong Kong

(valid as of May 1, 2025)

1. Scope

These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to any PUMA card, whether in physical or electronic form that was purchased at a participating PUMA owned and operated store in Hong Kong (or via hk.puma.com, if available) or otherwise issued by us (collectively “PUMA Card(s)”).

2. Legal Effect

By purchasing, accepting and / or using the PUMA Cards, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and are thereby entering into an agreement with us:

PUMA reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions from time to time without further notification to you. You will find the latest version at giftcard.puma.com. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights under applicable laws.

3. PUMA Cards

Only adults (18 years of age or above) or minors with the written consent of their parent(s)/legal guardian(s) are eligible to purchase PUMA Cards.

For the purchase of a PUMA Card, our General Terms and Conditions for the purchase of goods apply which are available in our participating stores for your instore purchases, and – if available – on  hk.puma.com for online purchases.  

4. Payment with PUMA Cards

PUMA Cards purchased or issued in a participating PUMA store in Hong Kong (or at hk.puma.com, if applicable) can be used to pay for products in every participating PUMA store throughout Hong Kong (or online at hk.puma.com, if applicable). Any remaining balance on your PUMA Card may be used on your next purchase but cannot be redeemed for cash (except where required by law).

You can use your PUMA Card to pay for your items until its balance is zero. If the balance of your PUMA Card does not cover the entire purchase, you may pay the balance by using other methods of payment, such as paying in cash or with credit card (as applicable).

You may check the balance on your PUMA Card directly in participating PUMA stores, or online at giftcard.puma.com by entering your PUMA Card number and the PIN.

5. Stored Value

PUMA Cards can be loaded at the outset with up to a maximum stored value of or equivalent to HKD3,000.00.

Please note that PUMA Cards are not reloadable.

6. Validity

Please also take note of the validity period printed on or attached to your PUMA Card. After the date of expiration, PUMA Cards cannot be used for any purchase. Any remaining balance will not be refunded.

7. Product Returns

Our return policies apply to the return of goods purchased with a PUMA Card (whether using the PUMA Card as payment in full or partially together with an alternative payment method)

If the returned items comply with our return policies, we handle refunds as follows:

1. If you return items that were paid for using only PUMA Cards, you will be issued a new PUMA Card for the returned amount

If the returned items were paid for by a combination of a PUMA Card and

2. cash payment, then the full amount paid will be refunded through a new PUMA Card that will be issued.
    
3. any other payment method not mentioned above (e.g. credit card, eWallet etc.), then the amount paid via the latter payment method will be refunded through the same means and as for the balance amount a new PUMA Card will be issued. 

Example: Your purchase value is 800 HKD of which 100 HKD were paid by credit card and 700 HKD by PUMA Card. You return items of that purchase with a value of 800 HKD. We will refund 100 HKD to your credit card and issue a new PUMA Card of 700 HKD value.

8. Electronic PUMA Cards

Electronic PUMA Cards will be sent to your indicated e-mail address. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that you provide the correct email address. If the e-mail address you provided cannot be verified, PUMA reserves the right to refrain from the delivery. Please contact us if you encounter any problems with the delivery of your electronic PUMA Card. If you should misplace or otherwise lose your electronic PUMA Card or the email containing the details thereof, PUMA will not be responsible for reissuing such PUMA Card or email.

9. Liability

Any liability of PUMA in relation to, including but not limited to, misuse, theft, loss, etc. for the credit on the PUMA Cards is explicitly excluded, and the credit on the PUMA Cards will not be refunded. This limitation of liability does not exclude claims in case of gross negligence or deliberate acts by PUMA and / or its employees.

Save as expressly provided above, the risk of loss and misuse remains entirely with the owner of the PUMA Cards. Please handle your PUMA Cards with special diligence and treat them like cash.

PUMA reserves the right to refuse or cancel PUMA Cards and orders where there is fraud, card issuance in an incorrect denomination, incomplete order information, or other violations of these Terms and Conditions, whether actual or suspected.

PUMA also reserves the right to refuse any altered, defaced, damaged, unreadable and expired PUMA Cards without any compensation to you. PUMA further reserves the right to collect and retain all PUMA Cards which stored value has been fully redeemed, has expired or has been damaged/altered.

10. Privacy Policy

We do not collect any personal data in connection with your use of the PUMA Cards. However, insofar as we collect and process your personal data in the course of your purchase or our issuance of a PUMA Card our privacy policy (available on hk.puma.com) applies to our collection and handling of your personal data.

11. General

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Hong Kong SAR.

Should there be any conflict or inconsistency between the English version and the Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions available at giftcard.puma.com, the English version shall prevail.
